Travel Itinerary
Day 1 - Arrival & Scenic Drive to Bhalukpong via Nameri
Morning / Afternoon: Pick-up from Guwahati Airport or Hollongi Airport (Itanagar).
En Route Drive: Drive towards Bhalukpong through the lush, emerald tea plantations of Assam and pass along the borders of Nameri Tiger Reserve. Enjoy scenic roadside stops for photos and fresh Assam tea.
Evening: Cross into Arunachal Pradesh and check into your hotel or resort at Bhalukpong by the Kameng River. Unwind and relax for the evening.
Day 2 - Bhalukpong to Dirang via Nechiphu Tunnel, Waterfalls & Bomdila
Morning: Depart Bhalukpong and drive upstream alongside the roaring Kameng River.
Scenic Transit: Pass through the iconic Nechiphu Tunnel and admire several cascading roadside waterfalls along the valley.
Afternoon: Reach Bomdila to visit the grand Bomdila Monastery (Gentse Gaden Rabgyel Lling Monastery). Spend time walking around the colorful local Bomdila market.

Day 3 - Dirang Exploration & Valley Stay Transition
Morning: Visit the National Research Centre on Yak & Government Sheep Farm in Dirang. Proceed to explore the serene Thupsung Dhargye Ling Monastery, enjoying panoramic valley views.
Afternoon: Drive into the picturesque Chug Valley, known for its organic farms, traditional stone houses, and flowing streams.
Evening: Check into a new homestay in Chug Valley. Enjoy a peaceful evening with your hosts and sample local Monpa cuisine.
Day 4 - Mandala Top, Sela Pass & Sela Tunnel Excursion
Morning: Drive up to Mandala Top, famous for its 108 Buddhist stupas arranged in a circle on the mountain ridge.
Afternoon: Ascend higher towards the high-altitude Sela Pass and drive through the engineering marvel, the Sela Tunnel. Visit the frozen/turquoise Sela Lake.
Late Afternoon: Drive back down towards Dirang and stop at the Dirang Hot Spring to soak and relax.
Evening: Return to Dirang town or valley for an overnight stay at your homestay.
Day 5 - Dirang to Shergaon via Buddha Heritage Park
Morning: Check out and begin driving towards the quaint heritage village of Shergaon.
En Route Sightseeing: Visit the Rainbow Fish farm & Buddha Heritage Park along the route, taking in the peaceful surroundings and giant Buddha statues.
Afternoon: Visit the Lama Tenpai Dronmey Museum cum Homestay to learn about the rich history, culture, and heritage of the region.

Day 6: Shergaon Sightseeing & Departure

Late Morning / Afternoon: Pack up, check out, and start the return drive towards your designated dropping point (Guwahati Airport or Hollongi Airport) for your onward flight.
